This whisky is part of Diageo's 2022 Special Release Series, which has the fascinating motto "Elusive Expressions". This exclusive series comprises rarities inspired by artistic depictions and gripping stories of mythical creatures, giving them a special aura. All bottlings are bottled at individual cask strength and the whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, which emphasises its purity and original quality.
The Singleton Glen Ord whisky, which is part of this series, is aged for 15 years. It is initially matured in refill American and European oak casks, allowing it to develop its basic flavours. It is finished in ex-wine casks, which gives it additional complexity and enhances its depth of flavour, which both connoisseurs and collectors will appreciate.
