In 1939, the government of Siam decided to change the name of the country to "Thailand", until the name was changed back to Thailand in 1949 as part of a new constitution.

Molasses made from the distillery's own sugar cane, a 5-fold distillation in column stills and maturation in American ex-bourbon barrels give the Siam Edition its incomparably complex and spicy, woody character.

In order to ensure a constant temperature, the storage room is located under the floor, with the Angels' Share percentage being between 7 and 9% per year. The barrels are refilled several times and topped up with a rum of the same age until the rum is bottled after 10 years of maturation.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Spicy, sweet, brown sugar, notes of wood.

Flavour: Spicy, sweet, candied fruit, notes of vanilla, oak and tobacco.

Finish: Langs on the palate.
