Description
Description
The Benriach distillery was founded in 1898 in the north of Speyside. The founder and whisky heir John Duff was an important milestone in the development of Benriach whisky. The distillery is located on the site of the old Riach farm. The water is drawn from a mineral-rich aquifer deep below the distillery.
The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple distilled.
This whisky is part of Benriach's Cask Edition. All premium bottlings in this collection were created by master blender Dr Rachel Barrie.
It is matured for 27 years in Pedro Ximénez puncheons.
The bottling is made without artificial colouring and is not chill-filtered.
