Glen Scotia Victoriana is a particularly expressive single malt Scotch whisky from the traditional Campbeltown distillery Glen Scotia, which is known for its powerful, maritime-influenced whiskies. This bottling is a tribute to the Victorian era - the great time of Campbeltown, when the town was regarded as the whisky capital of Scotland.

The Victoriana is produced in small batches and matured in a careful combination of American oak casks and a finish in heavily charred oak casks, which gives it its intense, deep character. It is bottled in cask strength at 54.2% vol., unfiltered and without colouring - in keeping with traditional craftsmanship.

The result is a powerful, complex whisky with elegant sweetness, subtle spice and a hint of smoke that will delight connoisseurs as well as discerning connoisseurs in search of an exceptional Campbeltown dram.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with a copper shimmer.

Nose: Rich and intense with notes of dark caramel, vanilla, toasted wood, dark berry fruit and a hint of smoke.

Taste: Full-bodied, strong and creamy with flavours of burnt sugar, dark chocolate, oak, spices and subtle fruitiness.

Finish: Long-lasting, dry and spicy with fine roasted flavours and a gentle veil of smoke.

Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to develop the aromatic depth. Ideal as a dram for special moments or as a highlight in a tasting.
