The British Steel Whisky is made from 100% pure barley malt and is double distilled in genuine Scottish pot still stills, giving it a particularly pure and complex structure. It is matured 72% in ex-bourbon casks and 28% in American white oak casks, giving the whisky a balanced blend of vanilla, woody and spicy flavours. The limited bottling of 12,000 bottles worldwide makes this whisky a coveted collector's item.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with a hint of amber.

Nose: Aromas of vanilla sweetness, oak, caramelised fruit and a hint of spice from the maturation in American oak casks.

Flavour: Full-bodied and complex with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, dried fruit and a fine oak spice that combine perfectly with the bourbon barrel notes.

Finish: Long-lasting and warm with a pleasant woody and vanilla sweetness and a subtle spicy kick.
