The El Dorado Single Still Enmore Finest Demerara Rum 2009 is a limited bottling from the renowned Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) in Guyana. This special vintage rum comes from the legendary Enmore Wooden Coffey Still, one of the last remaining wooden stills in the world, originally installed at the Enmore plantation in 1880. This unique distillation method gives the rum its unmistakable complexity and depth.

The vintage rum was distilled in 2009 and matured for over a decade in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak, developing an impressive balance between fruity sweetness, oak spice and subtle vanilla notes. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, this single-still rum remains pleasantly accessible and impresses with its elegant and complex structure.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Aromas of dark caramel, vanilla, toasted wood and tropical fruit.

Flavour: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of honey, dried apricots, cocoa, spicy oak and a subtle smokiness.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and balanced with sweet and spicy notes and a hint of oak.
