The whiskey is triple distilled for its soft, multi-layered structure and is first matured in ex-bourbon casks before receiving its characteristic finish in Oloroso sherry casks.


While the bourbon casks give the whiskey its typical warmth, vanilla and sweet honey notes, the subsequent finish in Oloroso sherry casks provides a complex fruitiness and elegant depth. This second maturation decisively shapes the profile of The Whistler - with finely nuanced flavours of dried fruit, nuts and a hint of spice that harmonise wonderfully with the sweet base structure. With an alcohol content of 43% vol., this whiskey displays a perfect balance of Irish mildness, malty sweetness and sherry-accentuated finesse.

Nose: Dry lemon sorbet, white grapes, walnuts, nougat, creamy raspberry and a hint of tropical fruit.

Flavour: Fruity and balanced with notes of bergamot, orange, creamy nougat, fine minerality and hints of coconut, banana and a hint of pear.

Finish: Sweet, soft and long-lasting with a fine, dry wood note.
