Pommery Brut Royal Champagne, 12.5% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is the iconic cuvée of the long-established Champagne Pommery house and embodies the values for which Pommery has been renowned for generations: freshness, elegance and finesse. The house is regarded as a pioneer of the modern Brut style, after Madame Pommery established the first dry champagne of this kind in the 19th century, thereby leaving a lasting mark on the Champagne region. To this day, Pommery Brut Royal remains one of the best-known and most popular champagnes in the world.


The cuvée is crafted from a careful selection of grapes from up to 40 different Lager, including renowned Grand Cru and Premier Cru areas such as the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. The chalky soils of these premier vineyards lend the champagne its characteristic minerality, freshness and elegance. The Brut Royal is then aged for more than three years in Champagne Pommery’s historic chalk cellars, resulting in added complexity and a particularly fine perlage. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., Pommery Brut Royal is well-balanced, lively and versatile, making it ideal for festive occasions as well as for stylish everyday enjoyment.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Pommery Brut Royal appears pale yellow with greenish highlights and a fine, persistent effervescence. On the nose, fresh and lively aromas of white flowers and stone fruit unfold. On the palate, the cuvée offers delicate acidity, pronounced minerality and subtle spice. The elegant interplay of freshness, fruit and structure creates a harmonious balance. The finish is lively, precise and pleasantly long-lasting.
