The LAGG Single Malt Scotch Whisky KILMORY Edition 46% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is the flagship of the Lagg Distillery's Core Range on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. Founded in 2017, the distillery aims to create a smoky island whisky with a strong character that reflects the original style of historic whisky production on Arran. The Lagg Kilmory single malt is made from carefully selected barley malt and produced with water from the distillery's own borehole. This single malt Scotch whisky from the islands represents a modern yet traditional style that clearly expresses the smoky character of the distillery.


It is matured entirely in first-fill American oak bourbon casks, which gives the whisky a harmonious combination of peat smoke, fruitiness and sweet vanilla notes. After double distillation, the Lagg Kilmory single malt Scotch whisky is bottled at 46% vol. The distillery deliberately avoids chill filtration and colouring, so that the natural character of this smoky Arran Single Malt Whisky is fully preserved. The Kilmory Edition reflects the distillery's typical house style and combines earthy peat notes, fresh citrus fruit and maritime island flavours to create a lively yet balanced whisky profile.

Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Sweet and peaty aromas with citrus, tropical fruit notes, subtle ash and earthy nuances.

Flavour: Fruity and lively with notes of citrus, crème brûlée, fresh herbs and grass, accompanied by dominant peaty and earthy smoke notes.

Finish: Langs with pepper, earthy and ashy flavours.

The Lagg Kilmory Single Malt Scotch Whisky is ideal for pure enjoyment to fully savour the balance of smoky peat, fruity notes and bourbon cask flavours. This smoky island whisky from Scotland harmonises particularly well with grilled meat, BBQ dishes, smoked salmon or strong cheese.
