Dubonnet Rouge is ideal as a classic aperitif - preferably with ice cubes and a citrus zest. The combination with gin in the legendary "Gin and Dubonnet" drink is particularly popular. It also harmonises well with bitter lemon, tonic or as an ingredient in aromatic long drinks. In culinary terms, it goes well with pâtés, cracker variations, mild cheeses, tapas, but also with dark chocolate or desserts with red fruits.
