Legendario's Elixir de Cuba is a "Punch au Rhum" - actually a rum liqueur that uses an authentic Cuban liqueur with an average ageing period of 7 years as its base. An essence of macerated sultanas is then added to this Legendario after ageing in American oak barrels. This can also be recognised by the suspended particles that come from the added grape essence and are a natural component of this liqueur. This blend also gives Elixir de Cuba its particularly smooth and, above all, sweet flavour. Exclusive, delicate and naturally different from all other traditional Cuban rums.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Exotic, notes of sugar cane, grapes, sultanas, spicy aromas.

Flavour: Full-bodied, round, soft, sweet, delicate.

Finish: Langs on the palate.

Best enjoyed neat and slightly chilled. However, it is also perfect as a mixed drink with fresh fruit juices.
