The West Cork Maritime Single Malt Irish Whiskey Rum Cask Finished Limited Edition 46% vol. 0.7 l is an exclusive release from the highly regarded West Cork Maritime Collection, which embodies the authentic connection between Irish distilling craftsmanship and the influence of the Atlantic. Produced by West Cork Distillers in Skibbereen, one of Ireland’s south-westernmost distilleries, this limited edition reflects the craftsmanship and innovative spirit of this independent distillery.


The whisky was initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks before being finished in selected rum casks from the Consorcio Licorero Nacional – renowned for its high-quality Caribbean rums. This secondary maturation lends the whisky a fascinating depth, perfectly blending sweet, spicy and slightly toasty notes. The combination of maritime maturation, bourbon oak and rum casks creates a harmonious interplay of aromas with a distinct warmth and character.


At 46 per cent ABV, the Rum Cask Finished is full-bodied, aromatic and elegantly balanced. This edition combines the tropical sweetness of the Caribbean with the freshness of the Irish coast – a single malt of rare depth and harmony.

Colour: Dark gold with a slight copper sheen.

Nose: Honey, vanilla, caramel and chocolate, complemented by subtle fruity notes.

Flavour: Soft and full-bodied with roasted aromas of coffee, toast and dark chocolate.

Finish: Langs, dry and balanced with fine spice and oak nuances.
