Marzadro Espressioni Solera is an exclusive grappa composition from Distilleria Marzadro, a renowned family business in Trentino that has been synonymous with quality, innovation and craftsmanship in Italian distilling since 1949. This exceptional bottling is part of the limited "Espressioni" series, which is characterised by sophisticated production processes and experimental barrel ageing. The Espressioni Solera is particularly characterised by its ageing according to the Solera method - a technique that is otherwise mainly known from sherry and rum production.

Selected marc from high-quality red grape varieties is used for this grappa, including Teroldego and other indigenous varieties from Trentino. Distillation takes place in discontinuous stills using the classic bagnomaria method, which produces particularly soft, aromatic distillates. The grappa is then matured for several years in a Solera system of oak barrels, whereby different vintages are harmoniously blended with each other - for a special depth, complexity and elegance.

Colour: Dark gold with reddish-brown reflections.

Nose: Intense and warm with aromas of dried fruit, toasted wood, vanilla, spices and a hint of cocoa.

Flavour: Full-bodied, round and structured with notes of caramel, sultanas, oak spice, tobacco and dark chocolate.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and harmonious with elegant wood notes and soft fruit sweetness.
