Every year since 2001, a limited-edition collection of exquisitely crafted Scotch whisky original bottlings at their natural cask strength has seen the light of day – Diageo’s SPECIAL RELEASES.

With the latest instalment of the Special Releases, ‘Spirited Xchange’, we are delighted to celebrate the newest bottlings in this special series, which is inspired by cultural influences from various countries and brings leading brands to life through unique partnerships with different cultures.

This Roseisle The Origami Kite Single Malt has undergone a proud 12-year maturation process. Throughout its maturation, it spent the entire time in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and refill casks, allowing it to incorporate rich flavours into its profile. The distillery has decided to leave this limited edition in its natural state and bottle it at natural cask strength of 56.5 per cent by volume.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold.

Nose: Sweet, notes of vanilla, treacle, grain and hints of nuts.

Palate: Velvety and delicate, vanilla cream, fruity aromas of ripe peaches, chocolate.

Finish: Long-lasting.
