Weingut Polz, located in the south of Styria in Austria, is characterised by its ideal wine-growing location. Polz Sauvignon Blanc Südsteiermark Ried Hochgrassnitzberg, made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, is characterised by its growth on shell limestone soils. Maturation in large wooden barrels gives it a unique structure and depth. With a storage potential until 2031 and sealed with a natural cork, this wine guarantees exceptional development and flavour development over the years.

Tasting Note

Golden yellow with green reflections in the glass. Very spicy nose of gooseberries and cassis. Multi-layered on the palate with fine minerality. Long-lasting and lively on the finish.

Residual sugar: 1.2 g/l

Drinking temperature: 12-14 °C

An excellent accompaniment to Japanese tempura vegetables and sole with Normande sauce.
