Southern Comfort Black is an expressive, whiskey-based spirit that captures the authentic character of the American South. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, this variant is significantly stronger and more intense than the classic original. Southern Comfort Black is produced on the basis of real American whiskey, which is refined with finely balanced flavours of vanilla, spices and wood notes. The result is a full-bodied, spicy composition that emphasises the original whiskey character while retaining the unmistakable Southern Comfort taste.
The Southern Comfort brand was founded by M.W. Heron in New Orleans in 1874 and still stands for Southern tradition and quality craftsmanship today. Southern Comfort Black is a tribute to the founder's original recipe - strong, aromatic and with a warm, deep flavour profile. The use of high-quality whiskey bases and the deliberate reduction of sweetness make this whiskey-based spirit more mature, structured and authentic.
