Rum and honey are a particularly valued combination in the Canary Islands.

For the smooth and sweet honey rum from the Aldea distillery on La Palma, sugar cane is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides.

After distillation from the juice of this freshly pressed sugar cane and a short maturation phase, the rum is refined with fine, locally produced organic honey. For the crossing on the Tres Hombres sailing ship, this spiced rum is transferred to former Armagnac barrels, giving the "La Palma Roner y Miel 2022" an exquisite finish on its almost 10,000-mile or five-month sea voyage.

The bottle labels are adorned with motifs of the Tres Hombres and their adventurous voyages. The bottles are sealed with natural corks and sealed with beeswax.

This wax is enriched with colour pigments ground from natural materials in a traditional windmill in Zaandam, giving the bottles an authentic and environmentally friendly finish.

Palate: Floral, citrus fruits, vanilla.

Finish: Langs on the palate.
