The Rhum J.M distillery is one of the few distilleries dedicated to the production of rhum agricole. Located in the countryside of Macouba on the island of Martinique, it is subject to the requirements of the "Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée", a protected designation of origin that guarantees the quality and authenticity of the rhum. A key feature of Rhum J.M's production is the use of freshly pressed sugar cane juice grown in the company's own fields at the foot of Montagne Pelée.

The Rhum J.M Vieux Agricole Millésimé, a flagship of the distillery, undergoes a careful ageing process of ten years in selected bourbon barrels. This long maturation period allows for a complex development of the flavour profiles, which are further refined by the natural storage conditions. A particular highlight of this rhum is that it contains no additional colouring, added sugar or chill filtration, making it a pure expression of traditional rhum agricole.

Finish: Langs, vanilla, fruit.
