The Springbank Campbeltown Loch Blended Scotch Whisky 46% Vol. 0.7 l is a special blended malt Scotch whisky composed exclusively from malts from the traditional Campbeltown distilleries. Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia come together in this blend, creating a whisky that captures all the diversity and maritime character of this historic region. It is bottled directly at the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, one of the last family-run distilleries in Scotland.


It is matured in a carefully balanced combination of ex-bourbon casks and ex-sherry casks. While the American oak casks lend the whisky sweet vanilla, honey and caramel notes, the sherry casks provide a deeper flavour, dried fruit and an elegant, full-bodied structure. With an alcohol content of 46% vol., it is bottled without chill-filtration and without colouring, which underlines its naturalness and authenticity.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold with a warm shimmer.

Nose: Sweet vanilla, honey and cereals, plus maritime freshness, a little salt and light smoke.

Flavour: Full-bodied, round, with caramel, malt, dried fruit, spicy oak and a hint of peat.

Finish: Medium to long, balanced between sweet fruitiness and maritime spice.

The Campbeltown Loch Blended Scotch shows its strengths neat or with a small drop of water to open up the flavours. It harmonises perfectly with mature cheese, smoked fish or dark chocolate.
