The new edition of Trinidad Rum from 2021 was characterised by a slightly bitter aftertaste due to unexpected alcohol losses during the ageing process.

Trinidad and Tobago, known for its historical importance in the Caribbean as a land of sprinters, pirates and explorers, continues its discreet presence in the latest edition of the rum. This rum is characterised by its restrained and decisive character, reminiscent of whisky, supported by a base of chlorophyll and molasses that allows the aromas to develop later.

In terms of flavour, the rum reveals nuances of undergrowth and an antiquated aroma reminiscent of the interior of Romanesque churches or the first pages of an old liturgical book. These aromas lead to a pronounced vanilla flavour.
