Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to grow. After farming their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now housed in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Bottega GOLD Prosecco DOC Brut is a highlight of the Bottega range, made from the exquisite Glera grape variety. This sparkling wine is characterised by its elegance and liveliness, which are imparted by the careful selection of the grapes. Its fine effervescence and bouquet of fresh fruit and flowers make it a refreshing delight; its dry character makes it perfectly suited to special occasions and festive celebrations.

Tasting Note

Straw-yellow in colour with fine bubbles in the glass. Refined and fruity on the nose, with aromas of apples, pears and citrus fruits. Hints of sage, acacia and wisteria are also present. Very soft and harmonious on the palate, elegant and lively with balanced acidity. Long-lasting finish.

Residual sugar: 10–14 g/l.

Acidity: 5–6.50 g/l.

Serving temperature: 5–6 °C.
