Kilchoman COULL POINT Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an exclusive travel retail edition from the Kilchoman Distillery and emphasises the clear, bourbon cask-influenced style of the farm distillery on Islay. Named after the rugged headland of Coull Point, around half a mile north of Machir Bay, this bottling continues the tradition of naming whiskies after prominent local landmarks. Kilchoman Coull Point is a vatting of four and five-year-old first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, with the four-year-old portion receiving an additional four-week finish in Oloroso sherry butts. This targeted cask combination combines freshness and clarity with a subtle, structural depth. This Islay single malt Scotch whisky was bottled at 46% vol. without chill-filtration and without colouring, thus fully preserving its texture and character.


Stylistically, the Kilchoman COULL POINT is accessible yet precise, with a light smokiness, fruity flavour and Kilchoman's typical balance of sweetness and maritime spice. The dominant bourbon cask maturation emphasises citrus and vanilla notes, while the short Oloroso finish contributes additional nuances and structure without masking the fresh Islay character. As a bottling exclusively available in travel retail, Coull Point occupies a special position within the Kilchoman range and is delivered in a high-quality gift box.
