Adrian Schleihauf is the third generation to run the Schleihauf fine fruit distillery, which has specialised in the handmade production of high-quality spirits for over 40 years. The distillery was founded in 1982 by his grandfather Herbert Schleihauf, an experienced cooper and cellar master who laid the foundations for the production of traditional fruit brandies.

Inspired by his cat Rüdiger, the Böser Kater brand was born, combining a love of cats with a passion for first-class spirits. Adrian and his team are continuing the tradition of the family manufactory. With every purchase of a Böser Kater gin, a contribution is made to cat protection, as part of the proceeds go to this cause.

A wintery, spicy gin, which is available in a limited Christmas edition, is ideal for gin & tonic during the festive season or as a shot in mulled wine.
