Since its foundation in 1793, the picturesque location and proximity to the harbour in the west of the Scottish Highlands have made the Oban Distillery a magnet for new settlers. Oban, which means "little bay" in Gaelic, has developed into one of the most respected and efficient distilleries despite initial challenges. With just two stills, Oban produces up to 700,000 litres of alcohol annually, making it one of the smallest distilleries in the world, a testament to its excellence and tradition in whisky production.

Oban 10 Years Old Coastal Orchard Single Malt was first matured in American oak refill casks before being finished in freshly burnt American oak casks previously filled with Oloroso sherry. This limited edition is an excellent collector's item and makes an exceptional gift for lovers of exclusive whiskies.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Lively, maritime aromas of seaweed and sea, oak, vanilla, herbal notes, sherry.

Flavour: Creamy, ripe oranges and lemons, vanilla, peppery nuances, breeze of sea salt.

Finish: Medium length, warming and spicy.
