Founded in 1798, Tobermory Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and is located in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Since its foundation, it has experienced turbulent times with many changes of ownership and production stoppages. In 1993, Burn Stewart Distillers took over the distillery, which was sold to the South African Distill Group in 2013. In March 2017, production was halted once again in order to carry out reorganisation work. Despite these challenges, Tobermory remains an important part of the Scotch whisky tradition.

Tobermory Oloroso Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky is a limited edition, matured for 17 years in Oloroso sherry casks, which delights with a wealth of special flavours. This exquisite single malt whisky develops complex notes of caramel, fruity accents and delicate rose petals, which together create a harmonious flavour experience.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Fruity blackcurrants, spicy notes, creamy caramel, toffee, almonds.

Flavour: Tropical fruit, ripe cherries, toffee, hints of leather, rose petals.

Finish: Langs, dry, nutty, nuances of Ingwerer.
