Tasting Note

The Mas La Plana 2019 has a deep purple-red colour with an almost black core in the glass. The nose reveals complex aromas of blackcurrants, ripe plums, mocha, fine cedar wood and dark chocolate, complemented by subtle roasted flavours and fine herbal spice. On the palate, it is powerful and multi-layered with dense fruit, excellently integrated tannins, mineral freshness and a long, elegant finish with hints of tobacco and vanilla.

The Torres Mas La Plana Penedès DO is an ideal accompaniment to fine dishes such as fillet of beef, braised lamb, game dishes or mature Manchego cheese. This wine also shows its full class with truffle risotto, grilled vegetables or dark chocolate with a high cocoa content.
