Maturation begins in selected first-fill bourbon casks, which lend the whisky creamy vanilla and caramel flavours. The Glen Scotia Double Cask is then given an additional finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, resulting in intense fruit flavours and elegant sweetness. With a strong 46% alcohol content, this Scottish single malt whisky is full-bodied, smooth and complex. It is also not chill-filtered, which preserves its natural flavours and full texture. Glen Scotia is characterised by its fine maritime note, which combines elegantly with fruit, malt and sherry spice.
