The Gold of Mauritius 5 Solera Dark Rum is a youthful yet complex rum that comes from the tropical island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and impresses with its deep, dark character. This exclusive blend combines different distillates that have been carefully crafted on the island and blended together to create a full-bodied yet balanced flavour profile.

The maturation process is carried out using the Solera method, which gives the rum a special depth. However, before the rum is bottled, it is given an additional six to eight months of maturation in former port wine barrels, which gives it both colour and fruity notes. This additional ageing enriches the rum with an intense, warm flavour and gives it the characteristic notes of dark fruit and fine wood nuances.
