Cinzano Asti D.O.C.G. is a sparkling Italian classic that has been appreciated for generations for its lightness, freshness and unmistakable flavour. It is produced in the traditional Cinzano house, which has been one of Italy's most important producers since 1757 and is known worldwide for its sparkling wine specialities. This Asti Spumante comes from the Piedmont region and is made from the Moscato Bianco grape variety, which gives the wine its typical fruity richness and aromatic intensity.

Vinification is carried out using the Charmat method in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, which optimally preserves the natural flavours of the Moscato grape. With an alcohol content of just 7% by volume, the Cinzano Asti D.O.C.G. is pleasantly light, sweet and sparkling at the same time - ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate a fine-sparkling and fruity sparkling wine. It bears the controlled designation of origin DOCG, which stands for the highest quality and strictest production standards.

Tasting Note

The Cinzano Asti has a brilliant straw yellow colour with fine, persistent bubbles that emphasise its freshness. The nose reveals an intense, fruity bouquet with seductive aromas of white flowers, ripe peach and juicy grapes, accompanied by a fine honey note. On the palate, it is refreshingly sweet with a harmonious balance of fruity sweetness and gentle acidity. The flavour nuances of apricots, muscatel grapes and orange blossom lend it an elegant lightness. The finish is long-lasting, gentle and fruity, while a subtle floral note rounds off the flavour experience wonderfully.

Cinzano Asti is an excellent accompaniment to light desserts such as fruit cake, tiramisu or panna cotta. It also harmonises perfectly with fresh fruit, especially strawberries and peaches. If you want to enjoy it as an aperitif, it pairs wonderfully with mild cheeses or canapés. Alternatively, this fresh sparkling wine is also suitable as a base for summer cocktails or spritz variations.
