Over the past few years, the Finnish vintage glögg Loimu from the traditional distillery Lignell & Piispanen has become a true cult drink of the winter season. Its popularity extends far beyond the borders of Finland and now delights connoisseurs in numerous countries.

Loimu is much more than just a mulled wine - it is a sophisticated and refined variant that is deeply rooted in Finnish tradition. For many years, Loimu has been delighting lovers of exquisite hot drinks, especially during the festive season. Loimu is produced every year in strictly limited quantities and with the highest level of craftsmanship.

The individuality of the vintage liqueur is reflected not only in its high-quality appearance, but also in the recipe, which changes every year. Each edition focuses on selected fruits and berries that make the drink a special treat. In 2021, the flavour of redcurrants and fruity raspberries dominate, harmonising with finely balanced Christmas spices.

This glögg is a speciality that warms you up after a walk or relaxes you in the evening. Loimu should be heated slowly to around 60 °C to fully develop its flavours.
