Description
Description
Dewar's Distillery, located in Aberfeldy in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, is a renowned whisky distillery with over 170 years of history. It was founded in 1846 by John Dewar Sr. and has since developed into one of the world's leading and most appreciated whisky brands.
Dewar's Double Double 26 Year Old is a Scotch whisky based on a special maturation process that Dewar's developed back in 1901. This fine bottling from the renowned Double Double series undergoes four careful maturation stages: The individual malt and grain whiskies mature separately, are then married, matured again and finally finished in exquisite Palo Cortado sherry casks.
This elaborate process guarantees exceptional smoothness and a deep, multi-layered flavour profile.
