Glenfiddich OUR ORIGINAL TWELVE 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 0.7-litre bottle, and is one of the world’s best-known single malts. Since the distillery was founded in 1887, Glenfiddich has pursued the vision of its founder, William Grant, to create exceptional whiskies with an unmistakable character. A key element of this style is the exceptionally pure spring water that has been used since the distillery opened. Equally defining is the high cut point established by William Grant during distillation, which is responsible for the whisky’s characteristic freshness and fruity aromas.


Glenfiddich 12 Years Old is matured for at least twelve years in carefully selected American ex-bourbon casks and European sherry casks, before the various casks are harmoniously blended together in traditional oak Solera vats. This results in a balanced flavour profile with fruity freshness, subtle sweetness and elegant oaky spice. Its mild, approachable character makes this single malt whisky an excellent choice for both newcomers and experienced whisky enthusiasts alike, and a timeless representative of Speyside.

Palate: Sweet and fruity with pear, buttered toffee, cream, malt, vanilla and subtle oak notes.

Finish: Long, smooth and mellow with elegant sweetness and subtle woody spice.

Glenfiddich OUR ORIGINAL TWELVE 12 Years Old reveals its balanced flavour profile best when enjoyed neat, with a few drops of still water or over a large ice cube. In terms of food pairing, this Speyside single malt whisky harmonises superbly with mild Cheddar, Brie, smoked salmon, poultry, apple pie, vanilla panna cotta, shortbread, crème brûlée, almond biscuits or milk chocolate. Thanks to its elegant and fruity character, it is also ideal as an aperitif amongst single malts or as a stylish digestif after a fine meal.
