Il Palagio La Duchessa Chianti Riserva is an impressive red wine, which carries the essence and authenticity of the Tuscan wine tradition. It is made exclusively from hand-picked Sangiovese grapes that ripen under optimal conditions in the sun-drenched vineyards of the Il Palagio estate. The vines thrive on clay and limestone soils, which give the wine its unmistakable structure, complexity and minerality. After gentle vinification, La Duchessa matures in selected oak barrels.

The result is an elegant, multi-layered wine that perfectly reflects Il Palagio's philosophy and dedication.

Tasting Note

Deep ruby red in the glass. Aromas of ripe raspberries and dark wild berries on the nose. Notes of sweet tobacco, black pepper and a hint of roasted coffee on the palate. Long-lasting and full-bodied on the finish.

Harmonises perfectly with game, grilled meat or mature cheese.
