Weinhof Deutsch is an Austrian winery located in the Vulkanland region, more precisely in the district of Weiz. It is run by the Deutsch family and is known for its high-quality wines, especially its Sauvignon Blancs and Morillons. The freshness, lively acidity and mineral notes are characteristics of these wines, which are characterised by the chalky soils of the region. Werder attaches great importance to sustainability, so only environmentally friendly cultivation methods are used to protect the soil and the environment. Visitors are welcome at the winery to taste the wines and enjoy the picturesque landscape of southern Styria.

Deutsch Zweigelt Klassik is a red quality wine from the Austrian wine-growing region of Southern Styria. It is made from the indigenous Zweigelt grape and matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness and vibrancy of the wine. Once it has matured, it is bottled and sealed with a screw cap.

Tasting Note

Dark red in the glass. Particularly fruity nose of ripe cherries. Somewhat spicy and fruity on the palate, accompanied by a pleasant tannin structure. Long-lasting on the finish.

This red wine goes perfectly with lasagne and cured ham.
