The Ron Quorhum 12 Años Solera comes from the Dominican Republic and is produced by the Oliver & Oliver distillery, which is also known for producing Cubaney rum. The rum is distilled using the classic pot still method, which ensures a particularly fine and flavoursome quality. It is then matured using the Solera method, in which the rum is aged in former American oak bourbon barrels. This process ensures a harmonious combination of flavours and contributes significantly to the quality of the end product.

The Juanillo Oliver family, which has Cuban roots, can look back on a long tradition of rum production. The Solera process involves transferring some of the rum from younger barrels to older ones, which ensures a consistently high level of maturity. In addition to Quorhum, other well-known rum brands from the Dominican Republic are Brugal Rum and Barceló Rum, which represent the diversity and quality of the country's rum production.
