The barrel-aged Abakus Gelber Bellefleur is an outstanding apple brandy made from a traditional apple variety. In Puch near Weiz, where the apple is the centrepiece of the region, great care and dedication is put into perfecting this fine distillate. For generations, the Puch apple men have dedicated themselves to the cultivation and refinement of their apples in order to present the best of nature in liquid form.

The Yellow Bellefleur is an old, valuable winter dessert apple variety that can be stored until April. Its striking, often irregular shape with angular features and yellow colouring is characteristic of this variety. The flesh is juicy, finely cellular and of medium firmness, with a sweet and finely balanced flavour. These special characteristics make it an ideal base for the Abakus Gelber Bellefleur, the distillation of which reflects the knowledge and expertise of Styrian apple growers to perfection.
