Weingut Tschida, located in the renowned wine region of Illmitz in Burgenland, is internationally recognised for its high-quality dessert wines. With decades of experience in wine production, the family winery has made a name for itself in particular with its noble sweet specialities. The vineyards cover 40 hectares on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, a region known for its unique microclimate and ideal conditions for growing noble sweet wines.

Tschida Angerhof Auslese Muskat Ottonel combines traditional care with modern vinification. Made from the noble Muskat Ottonel grape variety and classified as Auslese, only the ripest grapes are used here. The complete vinification in steel tanks - from fermentation to ageing - preserves the natural freshness and emphasises the lively fruitiness of the wine. At an ideal drinking temperature of 10 to 12 degrees, its aromatic diversity unfolds, reminiscent of ripe fruit and delicate flowers.

With its clear structure and authentic expressiveness, this wine reflects the connection to regional viticulture and offers both connoisseurs and curious connoisseurs an unforgettable taste experience.

Tasting Note

Bright gold in the glass. A delicate lavender note unfolds on the nose, gently surrounded by a delicate floral honey background. Brisk on the palate with a finely animating definition. The fresh acidity creates an artfully interwoven harmony of flavours, while a small touch of mint in the aftertaste rounds off the taste experience in a wonderfully charming way. Long-lasting on the finish.

Tschida Angerhof Auslese Muskat Ottonel is ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light dishes such as fresh salads, delicate fish creations and Mediterranean starters.
