The Porto Niepoort Tawny is an elegant, traditional port wine produced with great care and the highest level of winemaking expertise by the internationally renowned Niepoort winery in Portugal's Douro Valley. For more than five generations, the Niepoort family winery has stood for excellent quality, authenticity and innovation.

This Tawny Port wine is made from carefully selected, traditional grape varieties from the Douro region such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. After gentle vinification, the wine matures for several years in small wooden barrels, which gives it its typical velvety character, appealing amber colour and complex aroma.

With an alcohol content of 19.5% vol., this tawny is harmonious, pleasantly soft and expressive at the same time. Packaged in a stylish gift box, it is ideal as a tasteful gift for wine lovers or as an enjoyable highlight for special moments.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Porto Niepoort Tawny has a clear, warm amber colour with fine golden-brown reflections. On the palate, this port wine is velvety and smooth with a harmonious sweetness and mild acidity. The finish is long-lasting, elegant and delicately spicy, accompanied by subtle notes of caramel.
