The Schneider Black Print 2022 is an iconic German red wine from the Palatinate that has long since achieved cult status. Born from a spontaneous idea, the Black Print developed into a true success story and is now considered one of the flagships of the Markus Schneider winery. The cuvée is made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Dorsa, Syrah and Blaufränkisch. All the grapes come from vineyards in the hot and dry plain of the Palatinate, whose natural heat reservoirs ensure optimum ripeness and intense flavours. The wine is matured gently and precisely in order to preserve the varietal expressiveness and harmony of the cuvée. With an alcohol content of 14% vol., the Black Print is powerful, juicy and impressively deep. It is also vegan and stands for modern, sustainable wine enjoyment.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Schneider Black Print 2022 is a deep, dark ruby red colour with violet reflections. Intense aromas of blackcurrants, cherries, ripe blackberries and a hint of spices and dark chocolate unfold on the nose. On the palate, it is full-bodied, juicy and complex, with ripe tannins, dense fruit and a finely spiced structure. The finish is long, elegant and characterised by rich fruit.
