Emil Bauer Sauvignon Blanc No Terrorist is a characterful and expressive, single-varietal Sauvignon Blanc from the Palatinate, which bears the signature of the renowned Weingut Emil Bauer & Söhne. The grapes thrive under ideal conditions in the Palatinate, where the vines drive their roots deep into the loam, limestone and loess soils.

At the time of optimum ripeness, the grapes are harvested particularly quickly and during a cool time of day in order to preserve their intense flavours. After careful hand-picking, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery, where they are selected and gently pressed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the fresh fruit and aromatic intensity. Once fermentation is complete, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees, which gives it structure and fullness. Finally, it is bottled and sealed with a screw cap.

With its unique and provocative design "If you are racist, a terrorist or just an asshole - don't drink my Sauvignon Blanc", this Sauvignon Blanc has become particularly well known. But it's not just the label that is causing a stir - the flavour of this wine is also impressive across the board with its intense fruit and freshness.

Tasting Note

Bright, pale yellow in the glass. Intense nuances of gooseberries, green apples and ripe passion fruit on the nose. Fresh grass, nettle and a hint of citrus fruits accompany the intense notes. Crisp, lively and fruity on the palate with ripe gooseberries and apples. Long-lasting and slightly spicy on the finish.

Drinking temperature: 8-10 °C

An ideal accompaniment to light fish and seafood dishes, sushi and Asian dishes with citrus and ginger flavours. It is also an excellent accompaniment to goat's cheese, summer salads with fresh herbs or green asparagus with lemon butter.
