The Ron Cartavio 12 Years Solera 40% Vol. 0.7 l comes from Peru and is produced using the traditional Solera method, in which different degrees of maturity are blended together to achieve a harmonious and multi-layered profile. For this bottling, the rum is matured for 12 years in selected Slovenian oak barrels, whose wooden structure contributes significantly to the depth and balance. The combination of controlled maturation, tropical climate and precise blending gives this rum a clearly defined, smooth structure that reflects the typical style of the Cartavio distillery.

It also harmonises with mature hard cheese, mild blue cheese or aromatic ham, which elegantly complement its sweet and spicy elements.
