Weingut Tschida, located in the renowned wine region of Illmitz in Burgenland, is internationally recognised for its high-quality dessert wines. With decades of experience in wine production, the family winery has made a name for itself in particular with its noble sweet specialities. The vineyards cover 40 hectares on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, a region known for its unique microclimate and ideal conditions for growing noble sweet wines.

Tschida Angerhof Illmitzer Spätlese is an outstanding wine that combines the traditional art of viticulture with modern vinification in perfect harmony. Made from the Sämling 88 grape variety and classified as Spätlese, this wine impresses with its balance between lively fruitiness and a fine residual sweetness. The carefully selected grapes are harvested at their optimum ripeness and fermented and stored in steel tanks, preserving their natural flavours and characteristic minerality. The wine is then gently bottled and sealed with a screw cap.

Tasting Note

Bright gold colour in the glass. The nose reveals a spicy, delicate bouquet accompanied by cool notes of stone fruit and subtle nuances of pomaceous fruit. A silky fullness unfolds on the palate, enveloping the engaging, delicately creamy and lively mouthfeel. The flavours merge into a balanced taste experience that offers both freshness and depth.
