Founded in 1960 by Sergio Zenato, the Zenato Winery – a second-generation family business – has grown into a leading winery. It is situated on the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda and today cultivates more than 60 hectares of vineyards, predominantly planted with Trebbiano grapes.

Zenato has played a key role in raising the profile of wines from Lake Garda, driven by determination, passion and a tireless pursuit of quality. As a result, Zenato is recognised as one of the world’s leading wine producers.

The Zenato Ripassa Valpolicella is a wine characterised by a carefully crafted blend of 85% Corvina, 10% Rondinella and 5% Corvinone. These grape varieties lend the wine its characteristic structure and diversity of aromas. The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, which lends it additional depth and complexity. The Zenato Ripassa Valpolicella is sealed with a natural cork, which underlines the wine’s quality and tradition.

Tasting Note

A deep, dark red colour in the glass. On the nose, fruity notes of dark berries, hints of coffee and spices. On the palate, complex and juicy, with dark fruits, liquorice and spices. A long, harmonious finish.

Serving temperature: 18–20 °C

Pairs superbly with risotto and game dishes.
