The Polz Sauvignon Blanc Südsteiermark is a lively and aromatic white wine made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The vines thrive on the characteristic soils of southern Styria, which consist of shell limestone, clay, sand, limestone marl and slate. This diverse soil structure gives the wine an extraordinary minerality and freshness, which brings out the flavours perfectly. The Sauvignon Blanc is vinified precisely in steel tanks, which preserves the purity and freshness of the grapes. The wine has ageing potential until 2030 and is sealed with a practical screw cap to preserve its freshness.

This wine is a typical representative of southern Styria and impresses with its clear fruitiness and complex variety of flavours. An ideal companion for numerous occasions, whether as a refreshing aperitif or as a partner to light dishes.

Tasting Note

Clear, light straw yellow in the glass. The nose immediately reveals aromas of fresh redcurrants and citrus fruits, accompanied by tropical notes such as passion fruit and pineapple. On the palate, the wine shows a pleasant freshness, supported by lemon thyme and verbena, giving it an elegant herbal note. The wine is juicy, vibrant and surprises with a fresh exoticism that rounds off the flavour experience perfectly.

This Sauvignon Blanc is ideal as a refreshing aperitif or as an accompaniment to light dishes such as grilled fish, seafood or a fresh goat's cheese salad.
