The Gérard Bertrand CORBIÈRES BOUTENAC Domaine De Villemajou Rouge is an exquisite red wine from the renowned Languedoc-Roussillon region in the south of France. Produced from a masterful blend of Grenache (also known as Garnacha or Cannonau), Carignan and Syrah, this wine combines the finest qualities of these three significant grape varieties. The grapes are grown on the limestone soils of the Domaine de Villemajou estate and benefit from the Mediterranean climate, which lends the wine impressive depth and complexity.

This red wine is bottled with an alcohol content of 15% vol. and, thanks to its elegant structure and exceptional ageing potential of 6–8 years, is an excellent choice for wine lovers who appreciate both immediate enjoyment and long-term ageing. Tasting Note

A deep red colour with a robust structure in the glass. On the nose, it reveals a complex bouquet reminiscent of candied fruit, sweet spices, leather and coffee. On the palate, the wine is round and smooth, with a lovely intensity of fruit elegantly framed by fine-grained tannins. The structure is incredibly balanced and harmonious, lending the wine remarkable length. The finish is long and lingering, with a delicate, spicy note that perfectly rounds off the tasting experience.

This red wine is excellent with hearty meat dishes such as beef fillet, lamb chops or game.
