The Tement Pinot Blanc Ton & Mergel 2024 is an outstanding white wine that perfectly reflects the diversity and authenticity of Southern Styria. This single-varietal Pinot Blanc, with an alcohol content of 12.5% vol. and a bottle size of 0.75 litres, offers an exquisite experience for all wine lovers.

The grapes come from vineyards with soils consisting of clay and marl – a combination that lends the wine a distinctive minerality and complexity. The wine is matured following natural spontaneous fermentation and a slow ageing process on the fine lees, both in stainless steel tanks and in large wooden barrels, which gives the wine its fine structure and depth. The wine is sealed with a glass stopper, which preserves the aromas perfectly. With an ageing potential from 2025 to 2031, the Tement Weissburgunder Ton & Mergel shows that it will continue to gain in complexity and finesse in the years to come.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Tement Pinot Blanc Ton & Mergel displays a clear, pale yellow colour with delicate green highlights. On the nose, fresh aromas of yellow apple and white currants unfold, accompanied by a hint of exotic notes that lend the wine a fascinating depth. On the palate, the wine displays a robust, juicy acidity that harmonises perfectly with the minerality of the terroir. The fresh fruit notes are underpinned by a pronounced, almost tangible minerality, which gives the wine a wonderful structure. Its immense drinkability ensures that this Pinot Blanc is incredibly stimulating and lively, with a long and refreshing finish.
