This whisky is produced at the Speyburn Distillery, which has been synonymous with classic Highland whiskies with a soft, fruity character since 1897. The Bradan Orach is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, which gives it a pleasant vanilla sweetness and light oak notes. The profile remains fresh, fruity and uncomplicated - ideal for beginners, but also as an everyday whisky for experienced connoisseurs.
Thanks to its balanced, not overpowering flavour, this single malt is ideal for pure enjoyment or for mixed drinks at a higher level.
Tasting Note
Colour: Light gold with light amber reflections.
Nose: Fresh notes of green apples, citrus fruits and vanilla, accompanied by a hint of honey and malt.
Taste: Light and harmonious with sweet vanilla notes, gentle cereal flavours and a fine spiciness of oak and caramel.
Finish: Medium length, soft and slightly dry with a hint of almonds and honey.
Speyburn BRADAN ORACH is ideal for drinking neat or on ice. Its mild and fresh profile also makes it the perfect base for light whisky cocktails such as a whisky highball or a classic whisky sour. It unfolds its sweet and spicy flavours particularly well in combination with creamy cheese, vanilla desserts or roasted nuts.
