The Douglas Laing Strathearn Triple Cask is a powerful yet elegantly matured Highland single malt Scotch whisky with an unmistakable profile thanks to its triple cask maturation and handcrafted production at the Strathearn Distillery. Strathearn is one of the smallest and most tradition-conscious distilleries in Scotland and is known for its attention to detail and hand-crafted whiskies in limited editions.

This bottling combines whiskies from bourbon casks, sherry casks and virgin oak casks, resulting in a rich spectrum of flavours - from fruity sweetness to spicy, woody depths. This Highland single malt was bottled at a strong 50% vol., uncoloured and non-chill-filtered to bring out its natural expressiveness and complexity.

Tasting Note

Colour: Rich gold with a warm honey sheen.

Nose: Complex and inviting with aromas of caramel, ripe pear, vanilla, toasted wood, nutmeg and sultanas.

Flavour: Full-bodied and structured with honey sweetness, dark dried fruit, cinnamon, oak spice, cocoa bean and a fine malt note.

Finish: Langs and balanced with warming depth, gentle oak bitterness and a sweet finish.
