The Hillinger Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a modern, aromatically precise white wine from Burgenland that masterfully combines freshness, fruity richness and clear varietal typicity. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., this wine epitomises Leo Hillinger's signature style: uncompromising quality, purity and elegance. The grapes come from the best vineyards around Jois on Lake Neusiedl - an area known for its climatic diversity and ideal conditions for fruit-driven white wines.

The wine was matured in stainless steel tanks at a cool fermentation temperature of 13-15 °C over a period of five weeks. The wine then matured for three months on the fine lees, giving it an elegant texture and aromatic depth. It was bottled with a practical screw cap, which ensures freshness and shelf life. The ageing potential is around two years. The Hillinger Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a classic variety with a modern twist - ideal for lovers of aromatically clear, dry white wines from Austria.

Tasting Note

The Hillinger Sauvignon Blanc 2024 has a medium straw yellow colour with green reflections in the glass. The nose is clearly pronounced with intense aromas of gooseberry, elderflower, mown grass, green pepper and delicate cornflower notes. On the palate, these impressions unfold into an explosion of flavours, carried by a refreshing, medium body. The finish is fruity, lively and remains present for a long time with a clear Linie.
