The Scheiblhofer Big John Cuvée Reserve 2023 is one of Burgenland’s most distinctive red wines and is characterised by its richness, character and international class. Aged for 12 months in new American barriques, this wine is multi-layered and complex. Its modern style combines lush fruit with powerful tannins and a hint of toasty aromas. The alcohol content of 13.5 % vol. underlines the strength and expressiveness of this cuvée without detracting from its drinkability.

Tasting Note

In the glass, it sparkles with a deep violet colour and ruby-red edges. The nose is characterised by intense fruitiness, fragrant caramel and subtle toasty oak notes, which lend the wine depth and complexity.
